In February 2012, the Rail Garden Committee received permission
and full support from the City of Toronto and City Councillor Paula Fletcher to
move forward with the Rail Garden. The committee has been granted authority by
the city to implement, lead, and administer the Rail Garden. The Rail Garden
Committee is entirely volunteer-operated by neighbours of the Rail Garden.
